Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Niagara Children's Centre. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will work with children and youth to assess, identify, and treat communication difficulties in conjunction with parents and other caregivers to enhance quality of life and participation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and identify communication difficulties in children and youth
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to address communication difficulties
  • Work with children, youth, families, and other caregivers to achieve treatment goals
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
  • Provide education and support to families and caregivers on communication strategies and techniques
Requirements:
  • Registration and membership in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario
  • Post-secondary degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Sound understanding of speech language therapy amongst children and youth
  • Ability to identify goals and establish appropriate treatment plans to achieve said goals with children, youth, families, and other care providers
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
