Receptionist Job Description

At Associa BC, we are passionate about serving others and delivering exceptional customer experiences. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our company, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests and clients.

This part-time role is based in our Victoria office and requires a 4-hour daily commitment, Monday to Friday. The working hours are between 10AM and 2:30PM, with some flexibility on start time.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the front desk and provide administrative support to the team
  • Welcoming guests and directing visitors to the appropriate person or office
  • Answering and screening incoming phone calls, and providing basic information to clients
  • Maintaining a tidy and presentable reception area, with all necessary stationery and materials
  • Performing other clerical and administrative tasks as required
Requirements:
  • Proven work experience in a similar role, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Hands-on experience with office equipment and technology
  • Professional attitude and appearance, with a customer-focused mindset
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
