Accounts Receivable Supervisor

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Receivable Supervisor to join our team at Kenan Courier and Logistics. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our accounts receivable function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Train and supervise accounting and related clerks to ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.
- Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
- Co-ordinate and assign work to team members, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to support the accounts receivable function.
- Arrange for maintenance and repair work to be carried out on equipment and facilities.
- Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless integration of financial operations.
- Establish and maintain accurate records and files, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as accounting or finance.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in accounts receivable or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members and management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex financial issues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
