Senior Auditor

The Senior Auditor is a key role within Citigroup Inc. responsible for conducting moderately complex audits and assessments of the company's risk and control environments. This position requires in-depth subject matter expertise to contribute to the development of new techniques and processes for the area or function, ultimately helping Citigroup reach its business goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform moderately complex audits, including drafting audit reports and presenting issues to the business, to identify practical solutions.
- Complete assigned audits within budgeted timeframes and costs, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
- Monitor, assess, and recommend solutions to emerging risks, providing timely audit assurance and influencing audit scope.
- Contribute to the development of audit processes improvements, including the development of automated routines, to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Apply internal audit standards, policies, and regulations to provide timely audit assurance and influence audit scope.
- Act as a subject matter expert to senior stakeholders and/or other team members, providing guidance and support.
- Assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets.
- Subject matter expertise regarding audit technology's application, ensuring effective use and implementation.
- Effective project management skills, with the ability to be flexible, resilient, and adjust priorities as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.
