Senior Auditor

As a Senior Certification Auditor at SGS, you will be responsible for performing audits in accordance with SGS Certification procedures and applicable standards. Your expertise will be utilized to collect and analyze information to provide recommendations for certification. You will have authority for the control and performance of auditing activities, including planning and controlling other members of audit teams. Your decisions will be crucial in making relevant decisions regarding the audit process and informing SGS on issues resolution outside the audit process.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform certification audits in accordance with SGS Global/Local procedures and sector-specific schemes/standards, ensuring efficient and commercially expedient execution.
- Upon evidence gained during audits, provide determination on whether registration should be recommended or allowed to continue.
- Assimilate, understand, and operate the SGS Certification System in all auditing activities. Liaise with SGS's internal technical team regarding changes to its design and implementation.
- Lead a team of Auditors, depending on the assignment.
- Control/oversee activities of teams of Auditors during the audit, as needed.
- Collaborate with teams of Auditors during auditing activities.
- Strive to provide customers with sufficient audit experience to cover SGS's Certification's accredited activities.
- Assist in the training of other Auditors and Senior Auditors during planned audits or other training functions.
- Actively participate in witness audits by SGS or accreditation bodies.
- Maintain all audit-related credentials.
- Adhere to internal standards, policies, and procedures.
- Lead SGS Auditors during audits.
- Bachelor's degree in science.
- Minimum 2 years of work experience in a Quality assurance function within the PCPC industry.
- Minimum 2 years of work experience in quality & safety management system coordination within the PCPC industry.
- Minimum 10 years auditing experience in the PCPC industry.
- Constant Travel Required (67% - 100%).
- Must have experience working in a GMP/GDP pharmaceutical environment.
- Possesses lead auditor credentials for the following standards for Cosmetics, Personal Care, and Pharmaceutical industries.
- Must have ISO 9001 Certification.
- Must have ISO 22716 Certification.
- Must have ISO 14001 Certification.
- Must have ISO 45001 Certification.
