Senior Auditor

Job Summary:
The Senior Auditor is a key role within the Internal Audit team at Citibank Canada. As a Senior Auditor, you will be responsible for performing moderately complex audits and assessments of Citi's risk and control environments. Your expertise will contribute to the development of new techniques and processes for the area or function, helping Citi achieve its business goals.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct moderately complex audits, including drafting reports and presenting findings to the business.
- Develop and implement audit processes improvements, including the development of automated routines.
- Monitor and assess emerging risks, recommending solutions to mitigate them.
- Apply internal audit standards, policies, and regulations to provide timely audit assurance and influence audit scope.
- Develop effective relationships with senior stakeholders and team members.
- Exercise independence of judgment and autonomy in your work.
- Act as a subject matter expert to senior stakeholders and/or other team members.
- Assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Effective verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.
- Effective project management skills.
- Effective influencing and relationship management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to remain unbiased in a diverse working environment.
- Related certifications (CPA, ACA, CFA, CIA, CISA or similar) preferred.
Education:
Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.
