Editorial Content Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Editorial Content Manager to join our team at Parul's Artbox Ltd. As an Editorial Content Manager, you will be responsible for evaluating the suitability of material for publication, making decisions on the significance of copy, and planning the layout or format of copy according to space or time allocations.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and select high-quality content for publication, ensuring it meets our editorial standards.
- Make informed decisions on the significance of copy, taking into account its relevance, accuracy, and impact.
- Plan and coordinate the layout or format of copy, considering factors such as space, time, and audience engagement.
- Publish and distribute text content to various platforms, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Review and correct errors in spelling, grammar, and syntax, maintaining the highest level of editorial quality.
- Plan and coordinate coverage of upcoming events, assigning tasks and ensuring timely completion.
- Negotiate royalties with authors and initiate payments to freelance staff, ensuring smooth financial transactions.
- Collaborate with authors, staff writers, reporters, and other stakeholders to revise and improve copy, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
- Plan and coordinate activities of staff, ensuring production deadlines are met and team goals are achieved.
- Develop and prepare introductions, marketing materials, bibliographic references, indexes, and other text content, showcasing our brand's expertise and style.
- 1-7 months of experience in a related field, with a strong understanding of editorial principles and practices.
- Permanent employment, working 40 hours per week.
- Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
