About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Content Editor to join our team at Darpan Publication Ltd. as a key member of our editorial department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and Select Content: Assess the suitability of material for publication, ensuring it meets our high standards and aligns with our brand values.
  • Plan and Coordinate Content: Develop and implement content strategies, including planning layouts and formats to meet space or time allocations.
  • Ensure Quality and Accuracy: Detect and correct errors in spelling, grammar, and syntax, ensuring all content is error-free and polished.
  • Collaborate with Authors and Staff: Work closely with authors, staff writers, and reporters to revise and refine content, ensuring it meets our editorial standards.
  • Manage Production Deadlines: Plan and coordinate activities to ensure production deadlines are met, and content is delivered on time.
  • Develop Marketing Materials: Create engaging introductions, marketing materials, bibliographic references, indexes, and other text to support our publications.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as English, Journalism, or Communications.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of editorial processes and content management.
  • Language: Fluency in English, with excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week, with a flexible schedule to meet deadlines and collaborate with team members.
