About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Team Member to join our team at Dairy Queen Peace River. As a Food Service Team Member, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth and efficient food service experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service: Prepare and package take-out food, portion and wrap foods, prepare, heat and finish simple food items, and serve customers at counters or buffet tables.
  • Customer Service: Take customers' orders, receive and process payments, and provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas, and remove kitchen garbage and trash.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and attention to detail required.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks.
