Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

NEW INDIA CURRY MAHAL is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our restaurant operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our kitchen and front-of-house areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Train and develop staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements, ensuring that our kitchen is always well-stocked and prepared for peak periods.
  • Hire and manage food service staff, fostering a positive and inclusive team environment.
  • Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth and improvement.
  • Prepare and submit reports, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
Work Environment:

As a Food Service Supervisor at NEW INDIA CURRY MAHAL, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and suppliers.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
