Job Title: Truck Driver - Long Haul

B.N. Dulay's Trux Ltd. is seeking a skilled Truck Driver - Long Haul to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across the country.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment.
  • Logistics: Arrange travel, related itineraries and make reservations.
  • Load and Unload: Load and unload goods.
  • Permits and Documents: Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes.
  • Safety and Security: Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo.
  • Handling: Transport and handle dangerous goods.
Requirements:
  • Certifications: Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Security: Criminal record check, Driving record check (abstract), Drug test
  • Physical Demands: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
Work Environment:
  • Work Type: On the road job
  • Language: English
  • Hours: 45 to 60 hours per week
