Job Title: Truck Driver - Long Haul

B.N. Dulay's Trux Ltd. is seeking a skilled Truck Driver - Long Haul to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across the country.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Arrange travel, related itineraries, and make reservations for safe and efficient transportation.
  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, ensuring the safe transportation of goods and materials.
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
  • Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and storage.
  • Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and condition.
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs and perform brake adjustments as needed.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo.
  • Transport and handle dangerous goods, following all safety protocols.
Requirements:
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Criminal record check
  • Driving record check (abstract)
  • Drug test
  • Up to 45 kg (100 lbs) weight handling
