About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Nature's Coin Group Ltd. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, disinfect operating rooms and other areas, clean and disinfect elevators, handle and report lost and found items.
  • Guest Services: Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, provide basic information on facilities, pick up debris and empty trash containers, mend clothing and linens, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, wash windows, walls and ceilings, clean changing rooms and showers, address customers' complaints or concerns.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhere to workplace safety protocols, report any hazards or incidents to management.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective cleaning and maintenance of facilities, communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
  • Work Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a housekeeping or cleaning role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Schedule: 33 to 40 hours per week.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking, staff accommodation provided, office building, hotel, motel, resort.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certifications: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
  • Security Clearance: Basic security clearance.
  • Transportation: Public transportation available.
