Parsons Corporation, a leading provider of critical infrastructure solutions, seeks a seasoned Safety and Systems Strategist to join our Critical Infrastructure team.

About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to work on complex Rail Systems construction projects that will have a significant impact on local communities across North America. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in safety and systems engineering, with a proven track record of developing and implementing RAM and Safety analyses following industry standards such as EN-50126 and MIL-STD-882.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement RAM and Safety analyses for complex Rail Systems construction projects
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop specifications, requirements, plans, and analyses for system design, development, test, commissioning, and certification
  • Communicate effectively with customers at various management levels and technical backgrounds
  • Work individually with limited supervision and collaboratively in small to large focus groups assigned to complex tasks

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science from an accredited institution (or equivalent combination of experience, education, training, and certifications)
  • 10+ years related professional experience in safety and systems engineering
  • Proven self-starter with ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Familiarity with DOORS Requirements Management Tools and ISO/IEC/IEEE-15288 System Engineering Standard
  • Experience with signalling/S&TC
