As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care, working closely with an interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, coordinate, and manage care for patients and families. Your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities

  • Assessing patients' physical and emotional needs, developing personalized care plans, and implementing interventions to achieve optimal health outcomes.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication among team members.
  • Maintaining accurate records of patient progress, medical history, and treatment plans.
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety standards.
  • Providing education and support to patients and their families, empowering them to take an active role in their healthcare.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

Qualifications and Skills

  • A current Certificate of Registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Current BCLS certification.
  • Additional formal educational requirements or certifications as required by the department.
  • Membership in a professional association specific to nursing service area.
  • Computer literacy in current software applications.
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional growth and development, as well as Continuous Quality Improvement and Customer Service principles.

This is a permanent part-time position, and you will be expected to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and nights. You must have a minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent and demonstrate proven workplace excellence through strong job performance and attendance.

We offer a competitive salary, estimated at $73,000 - $91,000 per year, based on your qualifications and experience. Additionally, you will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision coverage, as well as access to ongoing professional development opportunities.
