Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Patient Service Assistant to join our team at DR HENRY OGHOGHO MEDICINE PROFESSIONAL CORPORATION. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as taking blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, and weighing, lifting, turning, and positioning patients.
  • Maintain patient rooms, including making beds and restocking supplies.
  • Record and process patient data, including booking appointments and maintaining accurate records.
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations and maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient care and comfort.
Requirements
  • Diploma or certificate from a post-secondary program in a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
