Your Day at Edon

  • Perform electrical repairs and maintenance services in accordance with electrical code specifications, including assembling, installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical equipment and components.
  • Assist with completing electrical preventive maintenance in accordance with the Preventive Maintenance Program, including fire alarm inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Perform tasks to improve facilities addressing building and client issues.
  • Read and interpret drawings and electrical code specifications.
  • Respond to service requests and emergencies.
  • Adhere to Edon's Quality Management System policies and OHS legislation and regulations.
  • Develop good customer relationships with client contacts.

Requirements for Success

  • Holds a Journeyman Electrician certificate in the province of Alberta.
  • Fire alarm inspection, testing, and maintenance certification.
  • Minimum four years of operational experience in facility operations.
  • Ability to read plans applied to technical areas.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience in exercising good judgment under pressure.
  • Owns basic electrical tools for building maintenance and repairs.
