Employed Student Nurse

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Employed Student Nurse to join our team at Squamish Hospital. As an Employed Student Nurse, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable clinical experience while working in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients, residents, and clients under the supervision of experienced nurses.
- Participate in clinical rotations and gain hands-on experience in various healthcare settings.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care and achieve excellent patient outcomes.
- Develop and maintain strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Currently enrolled in a recognized nursing education program in BC and in good standing.
- Successful completion of at least one Adult Medical or Surgical rotation in your nursing program.
- Registration (or eligibility for registration) with the British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals (BCCNM) as an Employed Student Registrant.
- Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (Healthcare Provider CPR).
