Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Employed Student Nurse to join our team at Squamish Hospital. As an Employed Student Nurse, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a clinical setting, working alongside experienced healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients, residents, and clients, utilizing your skills and knowledge to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to deliver patient-centered care, promoting a culture of safety and excellence.
- Participate in educational programs and training sessions to enhance your clinical skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to the development of a positive and supportive work environment, fostering a culture of teamwork and respect.
- Currently enrolled in a recognized nursing education program in BC, with a strong academic record.
- Successful completion of at least one Adult Medical or Surgical rotation in your nursing program.
- Registration with the British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals (BCCNM) as an Employed Student Registrant.
- Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (Healthcare Provider CPR).
