Agricultural Advisor Opportunity at Ontario Inc.

As an Agricultural Advisor at Ontario Inc., you will play a vital role in supporting the company's efforts to promote sustainable agricultural practices. About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice to farmers, suppliers, and other stakeholders on best practices in agricultural production. This includes developing and implementing strategies to improve crop yields, reduce waste, and enhance environmental sustainability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical guidance and support to farmers and suppliers on agricultural production methods
  • Develop and implement programs to promote sustainable agricultural practices
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains
  • Conduct site visits to assess agricultural operations and provide recommendations for improvement
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Less than 7 months of experience in a related field
  • A valid driver's licence
  • Basic security clearance
  • Criminal record check
Working Conditions

This position requires working outdoors, handling heavy loads, and being physically active for extended periods. You must also be willing to travel to various locations throughout the region as part of your duties.

What We Offer

Ontario Inc. offers a competitive salary range of $35,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, you will receive free parking available and other benefits.
