Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including training and development.
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates.
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Team Management
    • Hire food service staff and provide ongoing training and development.
Work Environment

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods. The role requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure.

Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
