Telecommunications Network and Systems Specialist

Job SummaryWe are seeking an honest, friendly, and enthusiastic IT Network and VoIP technician to oversee the design, implementation, and management of our customers' and company's IT and VoIP infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and deploying UCaaS and MS365 solution architecture, coordinating installations and migrations with vendors, troubleshooting LAN and WAN networks, and ensuring hardware functionality.
Key Responsibilities:- VoIP SIP Trunk implementation
- VoIP systems deployment and troubleshooting
- MS365 deployment and support
- Escalate issues to vendors and collaborate to resolve complex issues
- Support user community by executing service requests for Moves, Adds, Changes, Deletions
- Document as-built configurations for implemented systems
- Manage and maintain network monitoring and alerting tools
- Configure, document, and manage network security including firewalls, intrusion prevention, incident response, escalation, security policy articulation, and compliance checking
- Coordinate service calls and work with service providers to resolve problems and malfunctions
- Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations
- Implement network traffic and security monitoring software, and optimize server performance
- Configure servers in a virtual environment
- Post-secondary education or equivalent experience in Network/VoIP Administration or related field
- 2+ years of experience in IT support, with specific expertise in VoIP and Microsoft 365 administration
- Strong networking skills, including experience with LAN, WAN, VPN, and firewall setups
- Fluent English in communications with customers
- Prior routing and switching experience
- Network Security fundamentals
- Proven experience with SIP/VoIP
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Microsoft 365 Certified, Linux+, CCNA) are a plus
- $45,000.00-$75,000.00 per year salary range
