Job Summary:

The Service Quality Lead is responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality in IT services at Island Health. This role requires a strong understanding of ITIL and CoBit frameworks, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure IT services meet Island Health's standards.
  • Identify and resolve problems within the supported environment, working closely with the IM/IT team.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with ITIL and CoBit frameworks.
  • Develop and maintain documentation to support quality control processes.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from a recognized degree or diploma program in Computer Science, plus four (4) years' recent related experience.
  • Experience working in large public service organizations and knowledge of ITIL and CoBit frameworks.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to write programs in a variety of programming languages.
