About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Department Manager to join our team at Canadian Tire #655. As a key member of our management team, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and maintaining high-quality store operations.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have 4 years of retail management experience and possess excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. You will be responsible for managing department staff, maintaining store presentation, achieving sales objectives, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and lead department staff to achieve sales growth and improve customer satisfaction
  • Maintain high-quality store presentation through daily inspections and audits
  • Establish and communicate sales objectives to department staff
  • Supervise and assist department staff in daily operations to meet productivity goals
  • Implement and follow up on work projects to measure progress and address issues immediately
Requirements:
  • 4 years of retail management experience
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Good working knowledge of department products and functions
  • Demonstrated supervisory, leadership, and/or managerial experience or relevant experience
