At Dasmesh Punjabi School, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Director of Educational Services to join our team. As an integral part of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the academic vision and direction of our institution.

Job Summary

This is a permanent position that requires a Bachelor's degree and 5 years or more of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, strong communication abilities, and a deep understanding of educational best practices.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead the development and implementation of academic programs aligned with provincial standards and school board policies.
  2. Evaluate teaching methods and quality of instruction to ensure student learning outcomes are met.
  3. Direct and supervise the recruitment, training, evaluation, and promotion of teachers.
  4. Coordinate teaching activities and oversee the activities of teachers and support staff.
  5. Revise programs based on academic performance levels and conduct evaluations to inform decision-making.
  6. Develop and administer programs for the education and training of students and adults.
  7. Recruit and hire teachers and other staff members as needed.
  8. Evaluate the scope and sequence of the curriculum to ensure alignment with educational goals.
  9. Review programs to ensure conformance to school board or provincial standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • 5 years or more of relevant experience in education administration.
  • Provincial teacher's certificate or equivalent required.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
