Job Title: Credit Bureau Collections Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Credit Bureau Collections Specialist to join our team at Collectrite Credit Bureau Collections.

Job Summary:

The Credit Bureau Collections Specialist will be responsible for preparing financial statements and reports, preparing and keying in correspondence and legal documents, and reviewing and proofreading documents and correspondence to ensure compliance with legal procedures and grammatical usage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare financial statements and reports
  • Prepare and key in correspondence and legal documents
  • Review and proofread documents and correspondence to ensure compliance with legal procedures and grammatical usage
  • Trace and locate debtors
  • Research records, court files and other legal documents
  • Collect payments from debtors
  • Complete legal documentation
  • Complete credit and loan documentation
  • Analyze financial documents and reports
  • Provide customer service
  • Draft legal correspondence
  • Research legal precedents and gather evidence
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Office, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS PowerPoint
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
Work Environment:

The Credit Bureau Collections Specialist will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a large caseload. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent time management and organizational skills.
