Job Title: Credit Bureau Collections Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Credit Bureau Collections Specialist to join our team at Collectrite Credit Bureau Collections.

Job Summary:

The Credit Bureau Collections Specialist will be responsible for preparing financial statements and reports, preparing and keying in correspondence and legal documents, reviewing and proofreading documents and correspondence to ensure compliance with legal procedures and grammatical usage, tracing and locating debtors, researching records, court files and other legal documents, collecting payments from debtors, completing legal documentation, and analyzing financial documents and reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal procedures.
  • Correspondence and Document Preparation: Prepare and key in correspondence and legal documents, ensuring attention to detail and grammatical accuracy.
  • Document Review and Proofreading: Review and proofread documents and correspondence to ensure compliance with legal procedures and grammatical usage.
  • Debtor Location and Collection: Trace and locate debtors, and collect payments from debtors in a timely and professional manner.
  • Research and Analysis: Research records, court files, and other legal documents to analyze financial documents and reports.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: MS Word, MS Office, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS PowerPoint.
  • Area of Work Experience: Correspondence, Financial Statements, Reports and Records, Civil Litigation.
  • Area of Specialization: Collections.
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check, Credit check, and Reference required.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Attention to detail, and Large caseload.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, Client focus, Dependability, Efficient interpersonal skills, Excellent oral communication, Excellent written communication, Organized, Reliability, Team player, and Ability to multitask.
