Job Description

TV2 Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Automation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated software solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Develop Automated Software Solutions: Utilize your expertise in software development to design and develop automated software solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software development, quality assurance, and project management, to ensure that automated software solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Develop and Maintain Automation Processes: Develop and maintain automation processes, including integration and unit testing, to ensure that automated software solutions are reliable and efficient.
  • Analyze and Resolve Automation Software Issues: Analyze and resolve automation software issues, including debugging and troubleshooting, to ensure that automated software solutions are functioning as expected.
  • Participate in Peer Review of Solution Designs: Participate in peer review of solution designs to ensure that automated software solutions meet the needs of our clients and are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Support Business Process Owners During User Acceptance Testing: Support business process owners during user acceptance testing to ensure that automated software solutions meet the needs of our clients.
  • Identify and Communicate Risks Associated with Process Automation Candidates: Identify and communicate risks associated with process automation candidates to ensure that automated software solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Support Skills Transfer by Mentoring Newly Trained Resources: Support skills transfer by mentoring newly trained resources on best practices and development techniques.
  • Support Production Deployment Processes and Performance Testing: Support production deployment processes and performance testing to ensure that automated software solutions are reliable and efficient.
Requirements
  • Experience with Vue JS 3 and VS Composition API, Jest Typescript, Vite: Must have experience with Vue JS 3 and VS Composition API, Jest Typescript, Vite.
  • Experience with GIT, Docker, Keycloak, Bamboo and Bitbucket: Must have experience with GIT, Docker, Keycloak, Bamboo and Bitbucket.
  • Experience with Figma: Must have experience with Figma.
  • Experience with Java, Sprint, Sprint Boot, REST, SQL: Must have experience with Java, Sprint, Sprint Boot, REST, SQL.
  • Experience in Object-Oriented Design: Must have experience in object-oriented design.
  • Experience with GIT, Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift, Keycloak, Bamboo and Bitbucket: Must have experience with GIT, Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift, Keycloak, Bamboo and Bitbucket.
  • Familiarity with Unix-Based Systems: Must be familiar with Unix-based systems.
Benefits
  • Work Hours: Monday - Friday, normal 37.5 hours weeks working onsite up to 5 days a week.
  • Location: Hybrid in Saint John.
  • Type of Job: Temporary Contractor.
  • Length of Contract: 12 months with the possibility of extension.
