About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Developer to join our team at J.D. Irving, Limited. As a key member of our Application Services team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality software solutions that meet the technical and business requirements of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the development of web and mobile applications using a full technology stack, including C#,.Net, Angular, and JavaScript.
  2. Collaborate with solution designers to design custom web and mobile applications.
  3. Participate in on-call support for 24/7 operations.
  4. Work with internal stakeholders and external vendors to enhance our products.
  5. Lead application monitoring and problem management.
  6. Communicate technical status to stakeholders and manage technical development tasks.
  7. Participate in continuous improvements and solution modernization activities.
  8. Lead technology planning of development frameworks and automation of code deployment.
  9. Mentor junior software developers.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with:

  1. A university degree, preferably in Computer Science.
  2. At least 7 years of experience in a related field.
  3. Advanced competency in programming languages, with Microsoft technologies being an asset.
