Job Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Claims Assessment Manager to join our team at Global Excel Management Inc.

About the Role

As a Medical Claims Assessment Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the Claims Team and ensuring the prompt examination and administration of claims. You will work closely with Claims Examiners and Claims Managers to meet operational goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee Claims Team Members and provide guidance on procedural and workflow issues.
  • Participate in personnel activity including hiring, training, development, and evaluation of Claim Examiner performance.
  • Assure claims processing timeframes and deliveries are adhered to.
  • Handle first level of disputes or complaints from clients/providers and escalate to manager when necessary.
  • Prepare and review monthly reports.
  • Train new Claims Examiners on functions of the role.

Requirements

  • University degree or college diploma preferred, but not required.
  • 2-3 years Claims Assessment experience.
  • Full understanding of travel insurance, insurance terminology, and claims management.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.
