Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Landscape Supervisor to join our team at De Haas Landscape Design. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and maintenance of outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct the planting of trees, gardens, and lawns, ensuring high-quality results and adherence to project timelines.
  • Organize and direct construction of decks, decorative walls, and other landscape features, working closely with contractors and suppliers.
  • Plan and manage grounds maintenance, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Supervise a team of 1-2 people, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
  • Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies, ensuring timely delivery and quality control.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Specialized environmental skills and knowledge, with a focus on lawn care and sustainable practices.
Work Environment

As a Landscape Supervisor, you will work primarily outdoors, in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to handle heavy loads, work in hot and cold temperatures, and stand for extended periods.
