Job Summary:

S I Systems is seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team as a Full Time DevOps Engineer. As a key member of our platform engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and deploying Azure-native solutions for our cutting-edge CI/CD ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploy Azure-native solutions for our CI/CD ecosystem
  • Contribute to a team of like-minded platform engineers building platforms in Azure and GCP public clouds
  • Promote automation and infrastructure best practices
  • Lead the installation, upgrades and integration of the current and future Kubernetes platform(s), technologies and tools
  • Fearlessly face challenging technical problems, use your superpowers to solve them, and help your peers by sharing your unique solutions
  • Continuously learn new technical skills and practice by applying them in your day-to-day work
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as technical, analytical, and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to work flexible hours when required
  • Develop criteria for and participates in the evaluation of third party vendors and software as well as due diligence exercises
  • Manage all aspects of testing and verification ensuring all tasks are performed for all interfaces
  • Responsible for defining, planning and executing high level team activities, such as recommendations for architecture and process improvements
  • Provide direction to support staff in conducting performance tuning and capacity planning activities within the Cloud Infrastructure platform

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience with cloud networking and security setup, configuration, and troubleshooting on Azure
  • ~3+ years of experience with Infrastructure Automation and Infrastructure as Code (IAC) by developing Terraform modules (preference Enterprise)
  • ~3+ years of experience with Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS) setup, configuration, and optimization
  • ~3+ years of experience with Python or GoLang
  • ~ Experience working in a SAFe, Kanban, or Scrum development methodology
