Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Domestic Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Farhad Zoghi. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our homes, ensuring a comfortable living environment for our clients.

About the Role

This is a permanent position requiring 30 hours of work per week. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors to maintain a clean and hygienic environment;
  • Dust furniture and fixtures to prevent dust accumulation;
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture to keep them clean and free of debris;
  • Make beds and change sheets regularly to ensure a fresh and clean sleeping environment;
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries as needed;
  • Stock linen closet with essential items;
  • Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to maintain their condition and hygiene;
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to prevent unpleasant odors and pest infestations;
  • Launder clothing and household linens to keep them clean and fresh;
  • Wash windows, walls and ceilings to maintain their appearance and cleanliness.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate or diploma required;
  • Will train provided for the role;
  • Criminal record check required;
  • Organized and honest individual with excellent communication skills;
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
