Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Executive Chef Manager to join our team at Emoi Restaurant. As the head of our culinary department, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of all menu items, managing kitchen staff, and maintaining high food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory.
  • Demonstrate new cooking techniques and equipment to the cooking staff.
  • Supervise the activities of specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen workers.
  • Create new recipes and menus that meet quality standards.
  • Instruct cooks in food preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation.
  • Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Prepare and cook meals or specialty foods as needed.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies.
  • Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Safe Food Handling certificate.
  • Excellent oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
