Landscaping Manager

Cap-City Landscaping Inc is seeking a skilled Landscaping Supervisor to lead our grounds maintenance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and directing grounds maintenance, estimating labor and materials, and supervising landscape construction work.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and Direct Grounds Maintenance: Develop and implement effective grounds maintenance plans to ensure our outdoor spaces are well-maintained and visually appealing.
- Estimate Labor and Materials: Accurately estimate labor and materials required for various projects, ensuring we stay within budget and meet deadlines.
- Supervise Landscape Construction Work: Oversee the construction of decks, decorative or retaining walls, and other landscape features, ensuring high-quality results and meeting client expectations.
- Maintain Work Records and Logs: Keep accurate records of work completed, materials used, and labor hours worked, providing valuable insights for future projects.
- Requisition or Order Materials, Equipment, and Supplies: Procure necessary materials, equipment, and supplies to support our landscape construction projects.
- Resolve Work Problems, Provide Technical Advice, and Recommend Measures to Improve Productivity and Product Quality: Troubleshoot issues, provide expert advice, and suggest improvements to enhance productivity and product quality.
- Establish Work Schedules and Procedures: Develop and implement efficient work schedules and procedures to ensure smooth project execution and meet client expectations.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
- Supervision: 3-4 people
- Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, tight deadlines, attention to detail
- Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, team player, work term: permanent, work language: English, hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
