Key Responsibilities- Reporting and Record-Keeping: Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports to management, maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
- Warehouse Organization: Ensure the warehouse and work areas are organized and maintained, adhering to safety and security protocols.
- Training and Development: Train and develop warehouse staff in duties and policies, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Supply Chain Management: Assist in the coordination of inventory management, ensuring efficient and effective supply chain operations.
- Computer and Technology Skills: Proficient in MS Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with a strong understanding of electronic mail and MS Windows.
- Security and Safety: Conduct regular security and safety checks, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Work Environment and Physical Demands: Work in a fast-paced environment, handling weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs), and maintaining a high level of physical fitness.
- Experience: Previous experience in a logistics or supply chain role is an asset, but not required.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Work Setting: Construction and warehouse environments.
- Language: English is the primary language of communication.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
