About the Role:

The Deli Clerk is a key member of our Thrifty Foods team, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to meet customer needs and exceed expectations
  • Process customer deli orders and handle customer inquiries
  • Keep work area clean and presentable, adhering to food safety protocols and health and safety standards
  • Perform program execution and merchandising of deli products
  • Handle and prepare deli products, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
  • Participate in the training of junior staff and contribute to a positive and supportive team environment
  • Process department shrink and maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Other duties as required to support the success of the deli department
