We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Meat Wrapper to join our team at Thrifty Foods. As a Meat Wrapper, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality of meat products for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Adhere to all Food Safety Protocols, Standard Operating Procedures, and corporate policies to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service, meeting customer needs and fostering customer loyalty.
- Accurately wrap, package, price, label, and date all meat and poultry products in a financially responsible manner.
- Keep work areas clean and presentable at all times, handling, organizing, and rotating products in accordance with company standards.
- Accurately record information in all appropriate logs and perform program execution and merchandising product, following company presentation standards.
- Handle and prepare deli products in accordance with company quality standards and food safety protocols.
- Increase store sales by actively promoting products and participating in the training of junior staff.
- Order and receive stock in accordance with company inventory control procedures and maintain and prepare meat products for service case, if applicable.
- Process department shrink and perform other duties as required.
- Customer service skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Full knowledge of department operations and skills, including ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for long periods of time.
- Interpersonal skills, job knowledge, adaptability, dependability, productivity, teamwork, and enthused selling skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours and overtime, including exposure to varying temperatures and sanitation and cleaning chemicals.
