About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Rating Systems Programmer-Analyst to join our Actuarial - Commercial Lines Systems department. This individual will play a key role in supporting our growth by developing and maintaining rating systems and algorithms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and improve algorithms and tables related to rate changes to meet user needs.
  • Collaborate with users to ensure project completion and communicate status reports.
  • Analyze and evaluate the impact of changes on systems and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of system development and maintenance processes.
  • Apply programming techniques to ensure data accuracy and facilitate maintenance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Relevant system programming experience, preferably in the P&C insurance industry.
  • Knowledge of SAS and VBA, an asset.
  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills, with good organizational skills.
  • Integrity, focus on excellence, and customer-driven approach.
  • Bilingualism (English-French).
