As a Building Envelope Engineering Manager, you will play a key role in resolving complex engineering issues, collaborating with clients and team members, and growing your client base. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to creating resource and cost-efficient solutions for communities globally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough building envelope assessments, including roofs, façades, waterproofing, and insulation systems.
  • Develop and review designs for building envelope systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and building codes.
  • Perform detailed modeling of envelope assemblies using specialized software.
  • Investigate forensic issues such as water intrusion, material failures, and thermal inefficiencies.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and stakeholders throughout design and construction phases.
  • Publish detailed technical reports, project specifications, and provide recommendations for repairs or improvements.
  • Observe site construction and post-construction phases to ensure proper installation and performance.

Role Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor of Architecture in Building Science/Building Enclosures/Historic Preservation, Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, or Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering.
  • P.Eng Licensure Required. RRO, RRC, or RWC certification advantageous.
  • Minimum 11+ years of expertise in design, evaluation, and assessment of building envelope systems.
  • Experience in building envelope design, maintenance, and retrofit, and integrated design delivery of high-performance buildings.
  • Adept at Computer Aided Drafting/Design (AUTOCAD, REVIT, Rhino, Grasshopper).
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
