Job Description
  • We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Sales Manager to join our team at Midori Gifts. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, evaluating performance, and implementing marketing strategies to drive sales growth.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Directing and controlling daily operations to ensure seamless execution of tasks
  • Evaluating daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed
  • Planning and organizing daily operations to meet business objectives
  • Managing staff and assigning duties to optimize productivity
  • Studying market research and trends to determine consumer demand and competitor activity
  • Determining merchandise and services to be sold based on market analysis
  • Implementing price and credit policies to maximize revenue
  • L ocating, selecting, and procuring merchandise for resale
  • Developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote products and services
  • Planning budgets and monitoring revenues and expenses to ensure profitability
  • Determining staffing requirements to meet business needs
  • Resolving issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages
  • Recruiting, hiring, and supervising staff and/or volunteers
  • Oversleeping payroll administration and conducting performance reviews
  • Supervising office and volunteer staff to ensure efficient operation
  • Authorizing and organizing the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions
  • Allocating resources to implement organizational policies and programs
  • Establishing objectives for the organization and formulating or approving policies and programs
  • Selecting middle managers, directors, or other executive staff and delegating authority

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in a retail management role
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • Organized with attention to detail
  • Team player with ability to work under pressure
