Job Summary

Chuck Burger is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Team Member to join our team. As a Food Counter Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare and package take-out food to meet customer expectations
    • Portion and wrap foods to ensure quality and presentation
    • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer demands
    • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables with a smile
  • Food Handling and Safety
    • Stock refrigerators and salad bars to maintain a clean and organized environment
    • Take customers' orders accurately and efficiently
    • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs safely
  • Cleaning and Maintenance
    • Remove kitchen garbage and trash to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
    • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to ensure a clean and safe environment
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure seamless food service
    • Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues to resolve any issues
    Requirements
    • Education and Certifications
      • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
      • Safe Food Handling certificate and Smart Serve certification preferred
    • Work Environment and Physical Demands
      • Fast-paced environment with high energy levels
      • Handling heavy loads and standing for extended periods
      • Physically demanding with repetitive tasks
