ABA Instructor Therapist Position

Side by Side Therapy is seeking skilled Instructor Therapists to work with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities. As an Instructor Therapist, you will work one-on-one with clients in their homes or community settings, employing Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) teaching strategies as directed by a Senior Therapist and Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement client-specific ABA techniques and programming as instructed by the Senior Therapist and BCBA.
  • Deliver direct service in either the client's home or a community setting.
  • Record and graph data.
  • Document progress through detailed notes.
  • Communicate regularly with the Senior Therapist and BCBA.
Requirements:
  • College Diploma or University Degree in a related field.
  • Minimum 6-months of experience implementing ABA teaching strategies.
  • Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT) or working towards RBT certification is an asset.
  • Valid Ontario Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle or other reliable transportation.
