Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Director to join our Distribution Team in the Edmonton Alberta Region. As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for managing and motivating existing Advisor/Distributor relationships, developing relationships and motivating National Account Management, and effectively delivering seminars and webinars.

You will also be responsible for developing product knowledge for both The Edge and our competition, developing strong working relationships with Head Office associates, and effectively segmenting advisors and distributors.

The ideal candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage, motivate and train existing Advisor/Distributor relationships.
  2. Develop relationships and motivate National Account Management.
  3. Effectively deliver seminars and webinars.
  4. Develop product knowledge for both The Edge and our competition.
  5. Develop strong working relationships with Head Office associates.
  6. Effectively segment advisors and distributors.
  7. Manage persistency, wastage, and cancellations.
  8. Achieve sales objectives on a monthly basis and make adjustments as required.
  9. Develop skills in delivering all standard practices.
  10. Effectively represent The Edge Benefits in the marketplace.
  11. Learn and promote all incentive, contest, and conference programs.
  12. Communicate positively and effectively with EBI distribution and develop a mastermind alliance with your peers and managers.
Requirements
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong relationship-building skills.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information.
  • Life License Qualification Program (LLQP) is an asset, not required.
