About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Food Service Director to lead our team at Aramark. As a senior leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our food service department, ensuring that we deliver world-class services to our clients and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management: Lead, mentor, engage, and develop teams to maximize their contributions, including recruiting, assessing, training, coaching, and managing performance.
  • Operational Excellence: Develop operational component forecasts, monitor expenses, and report all variances.
  • Financial Management: Build revenue and manage budget, including cost controls with regard to food, beverage, and labor.
  • Client and Customer Relationships: Develop and maintain effective client and customer rapport for mutually beneficial business relationships.
  • Safety and Compliance: Accountable and responsible for maintaining a culture focused on safety in everything we do, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for clients, customers, and employees.
  • Team Development: Build and develop supervisory staff to become future leaders.
  • Sustainability: Deliver sustainability goals as they pertain to food services.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Comply with all applicable policies, rules, and regulations, including but not limited to those relating to safety, health, wage and hour.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree level education highly preferred in an area of Food Service, Hospitality, Facilities, or Business Management.
  • Experience: Preference to meaningful experience including restaurant, contract services, retail, and catering.
  • Skills: Strong analytical, project planning skills, proven ability with financial literacy skills, excellent knowledge of regulatory issues, and excellent computer literacy.
  • Personal Qualities: Positive attitude, genuine customer focus orientation, flexibility, and adaptability.
