Framatome is seeking a highly skilled Principal Radiochemist to join our team in Pickering or Kincardine, Ontario. As a key member of our Chemistry & Specialty Technology Business Line, you will play a critical role in developing and improving medical isotope technology and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of manufacturing methods for radioisotopes produced via target irradiation using a particle accelerator.
  • Collaborate with experts on target design, radiochemical separations, and implementation of manufacturing methods in hot cells.
  • Contribute to the improvement of medical isotope technology and processes.

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in Biological, Physical, or Applied Science.
  • At least 8 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong theoretical knowledge and practical skills in radioisotope production, target chemistry, separation chemistry, characterization, and synthesis for radiolabeled compounds/radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
