Senior Radiochemist

Framatome is seeking a highly skilled Principal Radiochemist to join our team in Pickering or Kincardine, Ontario. As a key member of our Chemistry & Specialty Technology Business Line, you will play a critical role in advancing medical isotope technology and process.
About the Role- Develop and improve medical isotope technology and process using our flexible accelerator technology
- Collaborate with experts on target design, radiochemical separations, and implementation of manufacturing methods in hot cells
- Contribute to the development of innovative solutions for the global nuclear fleet
- Strong theoretical knowledge and practical skills/experience in radioisotope production, target chemistry, separation chemistry, characterization, and synthesis for radiolabeled compounds/radiopharmaceuticals
- Strong knowledge of Analytical Methods and software
- Able to effectively communicate/collaborate with other subject matter experts in the nuclear power generation and medical isotope fields
