Financial Modeler

As a key member of Pomerleau's Construction Logistics team, you will be responsible for building financial models for valuation and budgeting purposes, preparing financial reports, and analyzing monthly variances and controlling expenses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support logistics managers in the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly trends, and three-year plans;
- Create dashboards and implement key performance indicators for various departments;
- Build and maintain financial analysis and projection models;
- Participate in projects to implement or develop analytical tools, budgeting systems, and optimize financial reporting;
- Analyze, prepare, and present financial results to management;
- Perform monthly variance analysis, justify variances, and ensure rigorous budget control;
- Prepare periodic/annual and ad hoc reports;
- Master the financial structure and ensure that users understand this structure in their daily work (support and occasional training);
- Work closely with the finance department on financial statements;
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in administration, majoring in management, finance, or accounting;
- 3 to 5 years of experience in analysis, data compilation, and accounting cycle;
- Advanced level of English;
- Excellent command of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerBi;
- Familiarity with data modeling concepts and techniques;
