About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Registered Nurse to join our team at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre (RVH). As a member of our Nursing Reserve Unit, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of diverse inpatient and outpatient units, providing care to patients across the lifespan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional patient care, utilizing the nursing process and responsibilities of the profession.
  • Function independently within the scope of practice, making sound decisions and solving problems effectively.
  • Collaborate with other members of the patient care team to foster a strong interprofessional model of care.
Requirements
  • Current Certificate of Registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Current BCLS certification.
  • Current ACLS certification (preferred).
  • Coronary Care Level 1 & 2 or equivalency (preferred).
  • PALS certification (preferred).
  • NRP certification (preferred).
  • Participation in RNAO (preferred).
Competencies
  • Sound problem-solving, communication, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Arrhythmia interpretation skills (preferred).
  • Demonstrated commitment to the professional growth and development of self and others.
  • Demonstrated commitment to the concepts of Continuous Quality Improvement and Customer Service.
