Job Title: Youth Services Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Services Worker to join our team at Sunrise House. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the well-being and development of at-risk youth.

Job Summary:

The Youth Services Worker will provide direct support to youth in our group home and community programs, focusing on education, employment, and life skills development. You will work collaboratively with our team to create a safe and supportive environment that fosters growth and empowerment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to youth, addressing their unique needs and goals.
  • Develop and implement life skills training programs, focusing on education, employment, and personal development.
  • Collaborate with our team to create a safe and supportive environment, promoting positive relationships and behaviors.
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor youth progress and adjust support plans as needed.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on best practices and program developments.
Requirements:
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field (e.g., social work, youth work, education).
  • 2+ years of experience working with at-risk youth, preferably in a group home or community program setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with youth and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on collaboration and mutual support.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.
